The Ministry of Health (MoH) concluded its Healthcare Leadership Executive Programme (HLEP) with a closing ceremony at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex yesterday.

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin officiated the event which began with the recitation of Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat followed by closing remark by the guest of honour.

HELP was a collaboration between the MoH and Singapore Health Service Private Limited (SingHealth).

It was designed to prepare healthcare professionals for leadership roles within the healthcare sector equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills in managing healthcare institutions while enhancing their ability to lead strategic healthcare development initiatives.

The programme was carried out in two phases, with the first in May featuring workshops and activities focused on foundational leadership concepts. The second phase, which began in August, provided deeper insights into healthcare management through group projects.

Some 49 participants from the MoH and representatives from private healthcare institutions joined the programme.
