Mobile vaccination clinic schedule announced, some centres closed for holidays

The Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be heading to several mukims next week for pre-selected patients, who have limited mobility or are bedridden, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at the daily press conference yesterday, adding that the house-to-house services will run from 9am to 2.30pm.

Tomorrow, the Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will head to Mukim Sengkurong and several mukims in the Kampong Ayer area.

On February 2, the clinic will head to Mukim Kuala Belait and several mukims in Kampong Ayer area while on February 3, the clinic will be stationed in Mukim Sengkurong.

On February 5, the clinic will be held in Mukim Kilanas and Mukim Sengkurong.

Patients eligible for the house-to-house service will be contacted in advance by the Ministry of Health (MoH) for early screening. Those contacted must share details of their identity card or passport and Bru-HIMS card (or number) if available.

Meanwhile, the minister also announced the closure of swab and vaccination centres during the upcoming public holidays – Chinese New Year, Brunei Darussalam National Day and Israk Mikraj.

The centres include the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital Sports Complex Swab Centre (SPOC), the Drive-Through Swab Centre at Bridex Hall, Jerudong and the Drive-Through Swab Centre at Pusat Insani, Seria, he said.

However, the minister added, the swab services on all three public holidays will still be available at the Berakas Health Centre from 2pm to 8.45pm, and at SARI 2 Centre, Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Kuala Belait from 7.30am to 6pm.
