Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) yesterday issued a travel advisory in light of the eruptions of Mount Ruang in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The advisory, posted on social media, states that the national carrier has conducted a risk assessment on the eruptions and has put in place mitigation measures to ensure the safety of its crew and passengers.

RB also said all flights will be carried out as scheduled while it continues to closely monitor the situation and keep the public updated.

RB also reiterated that the priority of the airline is on the safety of passengers and crew.

Mount Ruang began erupting on Tuesday, interrupting flights in the region impacting thousands of passengers.
