The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri on Wednesday at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas to extend gratitude to its officers and staff for their dedication and hard work.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad attended the event as the guest of honour.
The celebration kicked off with opening remarks from Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the MCYS Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, before certificates of appreciation were presented to 56 personnel who retired from the ministry last year as well as strategic partners of the ministry during the National Day celebration in February.
Also present were permanent secretaries and deputy permanent secretaries at the MCYS as well as department heads, officers and staff. – James Kon
