Ministry plants 127 saplings in green drive

The Ministry of Health yesterday planted 127 saplings at its Al-’Afiah Hall in an effort to support the Green Protocol in reducing carbon footprint.

Among the saplings planted were sakura, pokok doa, bereksa tree and eugenia tree. Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar was among those present at the event.

The tree-planting aimed to reduce the carbon print at government buildings, is one of the initiatives of the Brunei Climate Change Secretariat. – Rokiah Mahmud
