The Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday held an Israk Mikraj celebration at the ministry’s multipurpose hall.
Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.
Organised by the Prisons Department, the celebration began with an Al-Quran reading by Warden 659 Emirul bin Haji Kamis followed by a talk on ‘Ibrah Peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj: Jaga Solat’ by religious development officer from the Islamic Da’wah Centre Muhammad Najib bin Haji Awang.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat and mass Asar prayer. – James Kon
