BN on the Move is a health programme to promote a feature in the BruHealth app that aims to increase physical activity among Bruneians by encouraging walking or increasing the number of steps every day. The 80 Billion Steps Together Challenge is the third of its kind under the BN on the Move initiative launched on August 20.
The latest version has new features that cover a host of physical activities as well as improvements to the user experience, such as group competitions and a point system, known as BruPoints Mall, to incentivise users to practise an active lifestyle.
The BruPoints Mall includes 24 types of gifts and 1,289 items, with the most popular gifts being health food vouchers and gym memberships. The rewards can be earned on the BruHealth app by using the accumulated points earned through exercising and walking. – James Kon
