The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) held an Israk Mikraj celebration at the ministry yesterday.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad was present.
The ceremony began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah by Assistant Religious Development Officer at the Youth Development Centre Muhammad Nabil bin Haji Roslan and reading of Al-Quran verses by Qari champion of the National Level Al-Quran Reading Competition for Youth Abdul Qawiyyel Azeez bin Haji Abdul Rajid.
Mosque Affairs Officer Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahhuddin presented a religious talk titled ‘Israk Mikraj; Great Miracle for Selected Person’.
The event concluded with Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam and Doa against COVID-19 led by Muhammad Nabil.
