The Ministry of Health (MoH) and its departments held a Tahlil and Doa Selamat recitation ceremony to celebrate 10 new Muslim converts at the ministry’s Al-‘Afiah Hall yesterday.
Held in conjunction with International Nurses’ and Midwives Day 2022, the event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, followed by a mass recitation of Tahlil and Doa Selamat led by Nor Asilin bin Haji Awang Putting.
The 10 new converts comprised nurses and midwives from the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital and Suri Seri Begawan Hospital.
Permanent Secretary at the MoH Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin and Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) at the MoH Dr Ang Swee Hui were also present.
