The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) held a Nuzul Al-Quran celebration at its multipurpose hall yesterday.
Permanent Secretary (Safety and Welfare) at the MoHA Salminan bin Haji Burut as a representative for Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman attended the ceremony organised by the Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD).
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Selawat Tafrijiyyah led by Abdul Razak bin Sama, followed by a religious alk ‘Huda Linnas’ by Ahmad Muzhafar bin Haji Marsidi from the Islamic Da’wah Centre. It proceeded with a tausyeh performance by INRD officers and staff and concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat. – James Kon
