The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) yesterday held a celebration to commemorate Maulidur Rasul, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin attended the event, along with Permanent Secretary at the MPRT Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Deputy Permanent Secretary I Haji Mohd Yusree bin Haji Junaidi, Deputy Permanent Secretary II at the MPRT Hajah Dahliana binti Haji Aliakbar, heads of departments, senior officers, officers and staff of the MPRT.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the presentation of a special lecture on ‘Muhammad Al-Mustafa, the Chosen Person’ by mosque affairs officer at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahuddin.
The ceremony also saw a performance of Dikir Marhaban by ministry officers and staff. – Azlan Othman
