Brunei Darussalam will celebrate the National Level Israk Mikraj Celebration for 1446 Hijrah this year on January 27 at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.
Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the National Level Major Islamic Calendar Event for 1446 Hijrah, witnessed the full rehearsal held yesterday to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Co-organisers Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman and Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid were also present.
Permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries and members of the Executive Committee for the National Level Major Islamic Calendar Event for 1446 Hijrah were also in attendance.
This year’s ceremony carries the theme ‘Sembahyang Mencerdaskan Minda’ with the celebration being filled with the recitation of Al-Quran and Tadabbur as well as a religious talk. – Lyna Mohamad
