Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman yesterday paid a working visit to two religious schools to assess the implementation of teaching and learning as well as to inspect infrastructure and facilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and effective religious education.
The visit began at Batu Marang Religious School in the Brunei-Muara District, followed by Pengiran Muda Mohamed Bolkiah Religious School in the Temburong District.
Accompanying the minister were Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary of Religious Affairs (Policy and Religion) Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar and other ministry officials.
During the visits, the Minister toured classrooms to observe ongoing Islamic teaching and learning activities. He also interacted with students and teachers, taking a closer look at the implementation of the ‘SIUK’ (Sekolahku, Ilmuku, Ugamaku, Keberkatanku) programme for Year IV students.
