Twenty sepak takraw teams are vying to win the first TAIB Open Sepak Takraw Super League 2023 which will run until November 19.
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad who officiated the launch at Youth Centre in the Capital yesterday.
The minister and senior officials also witnessed MS PDB Team ‘B’ 2-1 win against MS ABDB Team ‘A’.
The league is organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Sepak Takraw Association.
The winning team will receive BND5,000, medals and trophy while the team finishing second will receive BND3,000 and medals.
The public are welcome to watch the matches every Sunday at Sungai Kebun Sports Complex. – James Kon
