Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman yesterday led a delegation to the International Conference of Religious Leaders 2024 at Sunway Resort Hotel Malaysia.
The conference, themed ‘Unity With Diversity’ was organised by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) in collaboration with the Muslim World League to enhance peace, harmony and unity in diversity among religious leaders globally. The conference gathered leaders and representatives from various religions from over 50 countries.
Islamic Da’wah Centre Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh and Head of Public Relations, International and MABIMS senior special duties officer Haji Mohammad Albi bin Haji Ibrahim accompanied the minister. – Azlan Othman
