With the success of One Billion Steps Together challenge under BN on the Move, the public is encouraged to take part in the 20 Billion Steps Together initiative which begins on October 1.
The new campaign was announced by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar during a press conference yesterday.
He said the target is expected to be achieved within three months, at the end of the year.
The minister said participants of the initiative can win prizes and the information shared in the BruHealth app. Those yet to register for the campaign are urged to do so using the app.
Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham also welcomed public participation in the Brunei Run event to be held in conjunction with World Heart Day celebration on October 2 during Bandarku Ceria at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital.
The event is part of the BN on the Move campaign, particularly the 20 Billion Steps Together challenge.
“Let us move together to reach 20 billion steps by the end of this year and continue to do sports and leisure activities with family and friends so that we are in good health. Keep moving for health. Every step is important; every step counts,” said the minister.
