The Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a Takbir Hari Raya Aidilfitri to celebrate the beginning of Hari Raya Aidilfitri in the month of Syawal for 1443 Hijrah at all MinDef and RBAF suraus, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque, with the focal event at Surau Ad-Difa’ Bolkiah Garrison.
The event, which marked the achievement after a month-long Ramadhan in the service of Allah the Almighty, was attended by Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof and RBAF Commander Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan as well as acting permanent secretary, officers and personnel of the MinDef and RBAF.
The event began with an Isyak prayer and concluded with the Takbir.
