Miharbi emerged as the champion of the first TAIB Open Sepak Takraw Super League 2023 after defeating Muara Spurs in a three-set thriller of 21-13,11-21 and 21-19 yesterday.
Miharbi won BND5,000 cash and a challenge trophy while Muara Spurs received BND3,000.
The finals held at the Youth Centre was attended by Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad.
MS Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei B and Brunei Legend B were joint third place winners and both teams received BND1,000.
Meanwhile, the award for best feeder went to Abdul Hadi Ariffin bin Matali of Miharbi, best killer shot to KPL 6178 Zatie Hidayat bin Saidi from MS Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei B and best tekong to Md Selamat bin Yakub from Muara Spurs. – James Kon
