The Secretariat Office of the Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) Supreme Council, in collaboration with Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), organised a one-day workshop aimed at strengthening the understanding of the MIB philosophy among the airline’s staff.
The programme, attended by 30 RB frontliners, including flight attendants, ground staff and officers, was held at the RB Campus in Jalan Kustin, Berakas.
The workshop was part of an effort to better equip RB employees, who are seen as the country’s ambassadors worldwide, with a deeper knowledge of Brunei’s heritage and identity.
The programme aimed to reinforce the participants’ understanding of MIB and Brunei’s national identity. The workshop also covered local ethnic identity, cultural traditions, and the role of MIB in the national development.
The workshop content included an introduction to the MIB philosophy, the ethnic identity of Brunei, the significance of MIB in nation-building, and the country’s cultural heritage and traditions.
The inaugural workshop was the first of its kind, with plans to extend it to all RB frontliners in the future, ensuring that they are well-prepared to represent the nation on the global stage.
