Almerez FC and HiTune Group of Companies strengthened their partnership following the establishment of the Almerez HiTune FC which will compete in the highly-anticipated Brunei Futsal League (BFL) 2024/2025 set to kick off on Saturday.
A memorandum of agreement (MoA) signing marking the establishment of the futsal club was held at the HiTune Group of Companies office in Kampong Mata-Mata, Gadong last night.
HiTune Group of Companies was represented by Chief Executive Officer Hernah Nur Imani binti Muhd Jeffrey and Managing Director Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang.
Meanwhile, Almerez FC was represented by Haji Muhammad Abdul Azim bin Haji Zakaria and Pengiran Amirul Mustaqim bin Pengiran Omar.
Through the agreement, both parties will cooperate and play a role to support each other in steering Almerez HiTune FC to achieve excellence in futsal.
Hernah Nur Imani said the agreement is a step to support one of the best futsal clubs in the Sultanate to achieve excellence as well as help future futsal development programmes.
She added that the agreement will also help produce futsal players with the potential to represent the country at both the regional and international level. “We are confident that with the steadfast commitment of all the players and team management, the Almerez HiTune FC squad will be able to compete with excellence in BFL 2024/2025,” she said.
The event also coincided with the contract signing of the team comprising 23 players, coaches and management officials. – Fadhil Yunus
