McDonald’s Brunei held a grand opening for its fifth location, in Kampong Sungai Tilong yesterday.
Asia Business Unit Lead of McDonald’s Thomas Ko and Chairman of Makan Ceria Sdn Bhd Edzwan Zukri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Johan Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Adanan attended the event.
A cultural performance was showcased to enliven the ceremony.
Senior Business Development Lead Haji Muhd Munir Syafiq bin Dato Paduka Haji Metassan said, ”We look forward to serving the community with a tandem drive-through.”
McDonald’s Brunei Marketing Lead Hafilah binti Salleh added, ”This innovation underscores our commitment to enhancing service while maintaining quality.”
Senior Marketing Associate Ikhwan bin Ibrahim said, “The donation box for Society for the Management of Autism Related issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei stands as a testament to our commitment in giving back to the community.”
McDonald’s Sungai Tilong also provides a surau, personalised table services. The restaurant is also integrated with the McDonald’s app.
Makan Ceria Deputy Chairman Haji Yushadi Satria bin Dato Paduka Haji Hussain, Director Haji Ahmad Fahruddeen bin Haji Mohd Azrae and Deputy Chief of Mission at the United States Embassy in Brunei Darussalam Stacy Lomba were also present. – Rokiah Mahmud
