Maulidur Rasul participants appreciated for ‘job well done’

The Belait District Religious Affairs Office recently hosted a ceremony to commemorate the contributions of various groups and agencies involved in the Maulidur Rasul for 1446 Hijrahprocession held on September 16.

The ceremony took place at a restaurant in Kuala Belait, with Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim as the guest of honour.

During the event, certificates of participation were presented to representatives of the participating groups and agencies.

The ceremony also featured a special talk by Senior Assistant Professor at the Jawi and Kitab Turath Study Centre at Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) Dr Haji Harapandi Dahri.

Attendees included Acting Belait District Officer Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad and Head of Religious Officer in the Belait District Mohamad Aliyani bin Ismail.

The ceremony aimed to strengthen relationships among the agencies and express gratitude for their efforts in ensuring the success of the Maulidur Rasul procession in the Belait District. – Daniel Lim
