The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism yesterday held a Maulidur Rasul ceremony to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
Present as the guest of honour was Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin. Also in attendance were the permanent secretary, deputy permanent secretaries, heads of departments, officers and staff at the ministry.
The religious gathering was highlighted by a special talk entitled ‘Rasulullah Pemilik Akhlak Yang Teragung’ by Director of Centre of International and Public Relations at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Dr Haji Hambali bin Haji Jaili.
Dikir Marhaban by the ministry’s workforce, and a Doa Selamat concluded the event.

Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid yesterday attended a Maulidur Rasul talk held in conjunction with the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The talk, jointly organised by the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Services and the Department of Technical Services under the Public Works Department (JKR) was held at Indera Pahlawan Hall, Authority for Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) building at Jalan Airport Lama in Berakas.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Momin from the Quantity Surveying Section, followed by a religious talk on ‘Berselawat dan Amalkan Sunnah Meraih Syafaat’ by Assistant Head of Dakwah Dissemination (Counselling) Unit from the Islamic Da’wah Centre Haji Badaruddin bin Haji Basar as the guest speaker.
To bless the event, a Doa Selamat was also read by the guest speaker.
Other attendees included Permanent Secretary (Planning, Land Use and Environment) at the Ministry of Development (MoD) Dr Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Construction Industry and Development) at the MoD Sr Hajah Norhayati binti Haji Mohd Yaakub, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Corporate and Law) at the MoD Aldila binti Haji Mohamad Salleh, JKR Acting Director General Ir Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Abdul Karim as well as heads of department, directors, officers and staff under the MoD.
Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB)

The Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) held a Maulidur Rasul celebration at its headquarters in Beribi Light Industrial Area in Gadong.
The ceremony was highlighted with Selawat Tafrijiyyah and Dikir Marhaban by its women members. Some 40 members joined the religious gathering, including the Young Entrepreneur Association Brunei (YEAB) and the Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
