Maulidur Rasul celebration begins

The Prime Minister’s Office continued its Dikir Maulidur Rasul ceremony in Belait District yesterday.

Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah was the guest of honour at the event at Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosque in Kuala Belait.

The event began with a mass Maghrib prayer followed by the recitation of Wirid dan Doa, Surah Al-Fatihah, Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Syarafil Anam by the Royal Brunei Police Force.

It was followed by a mass Isyak prayer, Dikir Marhaban and the recitation of Doa and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

The event concluded with a handover of waqaf of two fans by the guest of honour to the mosque, represented by mosque affairs officer Imam Afiq Hairie bin Haji Mat Daud. – Daniel Lim

Ministry of Defence

The Ministry of Defence organised the opening of Dikir Maulidur Rasul at all Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) suraus at its garrisons, bases and camps as well as Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque with Rimba Air Force Base’s Surau Al-Barakah as the focal point.

Acting Commander of the RBAF Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim was at the event with ministerial and RBAF officials and personnel as well as Mukim Gadong and RPN Kampong Rimba community leaders and residents.

The event began with mass Maghrib prayer, Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah and recitation of Sirah Nabawiyah by RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT) Pengiran Fakrul bin Pengiran Zaid.

The ceremony continued with Dikir Assalammualaika by imam Fathur bin Ahmad of Surau Al-Barakah followed by mass Isyak prayer, Selawat Badriyah and Dikir Dibaie as well as Dikir Marhaban by JAMA’AT Private Abdul Muiz bin Mustafa.

The event concluded with a Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by JAMA’AT’s Major Narulismandy bin Haji Samaih, Selawat Qiam, Surah Al-’Asr, Tasbih Kaffarah and Doa.

Kampong Pulaie Mosque

The Kampong Pulaie Mosque Takmir Committee held a dikir ceremony in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul on Wednesday evening, kicking off Dikir Maulidur Rasul.

Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid was the guest of honour at the event which began with a mass Maghrib prayer and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by Dikir Assalamualaika, Khairuman and Bisyahrin led by the imam and participated by the mosque takmir committee members and congregants.

The dikir participants then performed an Isyak prayer, followed by Dikir Marhaban. The ceremony concluded with a Doa. – Lyna Mohamad

Royal Brunei Police Force

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) on Wednesday organised an opening ceremony for Dikir Syarafil Anam to mark Maulidur Rasul.

Commissioner of the RBPF Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali was guest of honour at the event.

Also present were Deputy Commissioner of Police Dato Seri Pahlawan Sulaiman bin Alidin and Deputy Superintendent of Police Muhammad Aimi Safwan bin Zalidin, as chairperson of RBPF’s religious body, as well as officials and personnel.

The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib prayer, followed by the recitation of Dikir and concluded with Dikir Marhaban. – James Kon
