Master G registered their first win against Gold United 86-60 on the first day of the Master G Youth Basketball Championship 2022 at the New Village Mutual Aid Basketball Court in Seria recently.
Master G gained a 17-point lead in the first quarter of the game, and continued into the second quarter leading 56-33.
Gold United attempted to collect momentum in the remaining quarters, but Master G maintained composure to win the game comfortably.
The championship, organised by Master G Collection in collaboration with the Belait District Basketball Association (BDBA), aims to provide opportunities for basketball enthusiasts in the district to hone their skills.
Three teams are competing in the competition – Master G, Gold United and Hana Boyz.
Organising chairman Glen Chong officiated the start of the championship by tossing the ball during the first game.
