The Perodua Alza has everything you could wish for in a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) as it offers comfort, practicality, versatility and ample room for seven, with sliding second row seats.
The four-speed automatic transmission seven-seater MPV is powered by a 1.5L DVVT, DOHC with an EFI engine that delivers excellent fuel economy, smooth pick-up and acceleration, and cleaner gas emissions with minimal vibration noise.
Its exterior is equipped with front fog lamps, a rear spoiler, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, solar and security window film and reverse sensors, while the exterior is further enhanced by 15-inch alloys finished in titanium.
The front bumper with a larger lower intake makes room for a new twin-bar front grille and new side skirts, while a new rear bumper and tailgate garnish round up the changes at the back, bringing a more prominent appearance.
Measuring a length of 4,220 millimetres (mm), width of 1,695mm, height of 1,620mm and with a wheelbase of 2750mm, the MPV can easily make U-turns to a minimum of 5.2 metres on city streets and enter the best spots in crowded parking areas.
Step foot into the cabin and you will notice that it is the little things featured that make the ride comfortable. The massive storage compartments and flexible seating configurations make it suitable for family outings as well as everyday use, keeping with its ‘Versatile as You’ tagline.
Redesigned in a monotone black shade and a new look centre cluster, a new audio system with USB and Bluetooth functionality, the vehicle comes furnished with four speakers located in the first and second rows. The steering wheel is designed with an audio switch.
The fixed fins between the front centre air vents means better air-conditioning flow to the third row, with improved evaporator and enhanced heat-exchange piping.
The seats are fitted with high grade fabric, while the second and third row seats are foldable.
Additionally, 12V power sockets provide ample power to charge phone devices.
The Alza achieved the four-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating on its safety features. It comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assist and ISOFIX child seat points in the second row seats, seat belt reminder, anti-theft device (alarm and immobiliser) and reverse and front sensors.

The Alza is available at the GHK Motors showrooms at Beribi and the Kuala Belait branch. It comes with a three-year/100,000km warranty (whichever comes first) and is available in granite grey, ivory white, glittering silver, mystical purple and electric blue.
