Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd (Hengyi) held a Khatam Al-Quran recently to mark the holy month of Ramadhan.
The event was attended by Acting Permanent Secretary of the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Pengiran Haji Jamra Weira bin Pengiran Haji Petra.
Also present were Village Head of Pekan Muara and Pelumpong Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman/Othman and Acting Village Head of Kampong Serasa Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zainin.
Officers from Damai Holdings, the Department of Energy and the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam and Hengyi also attended the event.
The ceremony began with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and verses of Al-Quran, led by Haji Mohd Adam bin Haji Rosli. It was followed by the recitation of Takhtim, led by Pengiran Khairul Alimin bin Pengiran Haji Osman and Dikir, led by Mohd Aminuddin bin Haji Yusof.
The recitation of Doa Khatam and Doa Selamat was led by Haji Mohd Adam bin Haji Rosli.
