A total of 100 saplings were planted in commemoration of the 64th anniversary of the establishment of the Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD) at its headquarters yesterday.
The event, themed ‘Green Protocol Ecosystem Restoration’, was joined by Acting INRD Director Haji Azmi bin Haji Abdul Rahim as the guest of honour.
The saplings were planted at several spots of the premises.
The recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat was also held, led by Senior National Registration Officer Hafizulnizam bin Haji Kahar.
Other INRD officials also took part in the campaign.
