The Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) yesterday issued a warning notice to mariners and boat operators of an ongoing firing exercise taking place yesterday and today at several areas.
The firing exercise involves Royal Brunei Navy vessels of KDB Darussalam, KDB Darulehsan and KDB Darulaman.
Mariners are advised to stay clear of the affected areas.
Failure to do so will lead to a fine of up to BND10,000 or imprisonment up to two years, or both, on conviction, the agency said. – James Kon
