Haja Mydeen Mohamed Thajudeen who extinguished an electrical fire from a refrigerator and prevented the fire from spreading in a business premise on September 29 was presented with a Community Excellence Award by the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) through its Operation ‘G’ Branch.
FRD operation officer in Operation ‘G’ Branch SSFR Mohammad Zyakwan bin Idris handed over the award to Haja Mydeen Mohamed Thajudeen at Ya-Nur Supermarket, Kampong Kapok.
Station Commander of Bangar Fire station, SO Ishraqi bin Haji Sidup, and staff officer of Operation ‘G’ Branch, SO Jamaludin bin Ahmad were also present.
