Prosecutors on Wednesday levelled charges against a 44-year-old local man of committing statutory rape against a 13-year-old girl.
The man, whose identity is withheld to protect the victim, is alleged to have raped the victim between January and August. A second count alleges him of having raped the victim at a house on August 17 or 18.
