The Intermediate Court yesterday denied bail to a Malaysian man who pleaded not guilty to a charge of an attempt to use counterfeit money.
Lawyer Ahmad Basuni Abbas applied bail for his client Mohd Dzulkefi bin Abdul Hanip, 65, who faces a charge of attempting to use eight pieces of BND10,000 notes at the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank on March 18.
The bail was denied.
No trial dates have yet been allocated, however, Judge Radin Safiee Radin bin Mas Basiuni fixed next mention for May 5, to make way for case management.
