Prosecutors yesterday pressed a charge against a permanent resident for raping a 13-year-old girl with familial relations.
However, as investigations are still in its initial stage, Senior Magistrate Hajah Ervy Sufitriana binti Haji Abdul Rahman adjourned the case to December 22 to make way for further probes to be made into the case.
The 45-year-old man is alleged to have raped the girl in a house sometime in May. DPP Rozaimah Abdul Rahman prosecuted the case.
