Malaysian football legends treated to luncheon

Malaysian football legends, comprising former national football stars from the 90s and 2000s, led by former Malaysia head coach Datuk K Rajagopal, were hosted to a luncheon by the High Commission of Malaysia in Brunei Darussalam at its chancery yesterday.

The 18 former international players competed against Bruneian legendary footballers in a Battle of the Legends on Saturday at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium and emerged victorious with a score of 4-1.

Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah expressed the high commission’s support towards the organising of sporting events in the Sultanate that brings peoples of both countries together through the sport.
