A delegation from Kumpulan Kembara Husna and Kuliah Dhuha of Johor, Malaysia, was in the country for a three-day visit.
The delegation comprising 31 members was led by Shahrul Rizal bin Mohd Sati.
The group visited the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) to take a closer look at the Mushaf collection and other artefacts. Delegate Nurhayati binti Harun said she found the Mushaf collections informative.
The writing of Brunei Darussalam Mushaf began on April 25, 1988 in collaboration with the Arab Republic of Egypt.
It was completed and checked on November 28, 1989.
Various types of Mushaf are showcased at the BKISHHB of which the collections came from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Spain. – Rokiah Mahmud
