Malaysian defence force chief visits MinDef

The Ministry of Defence yesterday received an introductory visit from Chief of the Defence Force (CDF) of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohammad bin Ab Rahman, who is in the country until today.

Upon arrival at the Bolkiah Garrison, General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohammad was greeted by Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan.

He then received the general salute and inspected the guard of honour mounted by personnel from the Royal Brunei Land Force.

General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohammad paid a courtesy call on Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof and expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation rendered by the RBAF in strengthening the existing close relationship between the two armed forces as well as emphasised the MAF’s commitment to further enhance the cooperation.

The Malaysian CDF also made a call on Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi.
