PUTRAJAYA (ANN/THE STAR) – Investigators are looking for the son-in-law of former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and another individual, to assist investigations into a graft case.
Allegations in the case include corruption and misappropriation of a project related to the registration and storage of foreign workers’ biometrics.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission said they are looking for Muhammad Adlan Berhan, 48, and lawyer Mansoor Saat, 69, to assist in the investigation.
The agency said that checks with the Immigration Department showed that Muhammad Adlan and Mansoor left the country on May 17 and 21 respectively.
There were no records of the two returning to Malaysia, it said in a statement yesterday.
“Various efforts have been made by MACC, including directly contacting the two individuals and their respective lawyers. However, they failed to present themselves at our office,” it said.
Muhammad Adlan’s last known address is Lot 65, Sunway Kiara Hills, Jalan 32/70A Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur.
Mansor’s last-known address is 5 Jalan SS19/1C Subang Jaya, Selangor.
