PETALING JAYA (THE STAR) – Malaysia recorded 3,381 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, its Health Director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
The Health director-general said, in a tweet, that this brings the cumulative number of COVID-19 infections in Malaysia to 2,780,080 since the pandemic began.
He added that Selangor recorded the most cases with 879, followed by Kelantan (385), Johor (299) and Kuala Lumpur (271).
Dr Noor Hisham also said that there were five localities with less than 100 daily cases reported – Terengganu (94), Putrajaya (30), Sarawak (18), Labuan (14) and Perlis (14).
