Progresif Sdn Bhd has sponsored Internet connectivity to Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital’s Paediatric Oncology Ward under the Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) and has provided Wi-Fi coverage.
Progresif has embarked on this initiative to give back to the community they serve, especially at the forefront of progress for education. Through the brand’s corporate social responsibility, the company was able to provide connectivity that enables students to access their education and allowing them to connect virtually with family and friends while they are undergoing treatment.
Progresif’s Senior Enterprise Relationship Manager (Government and Special Projects) Hajah Normah binti Ahmad said, “We know that the increasing usage of virtual communication will allow children and families to maintain virtual relationships.
“For children with cancer, the hospital is their second home as they have to visit the hospital often for their treatment. It is fantastic to have access to Wi-Fi as it can be used to distract our children with online programmes during their procedures or treatment.”
