I would like to call on the authorities to consider making all the streetlights along all main roads solar-powered amid growing concern over climate change as well as our country’s commitment to meeting the United Nations’ Sustainable Developmental Goals.
While the cost of replacing all these lights would be enormous, it would be cheaper in the long run as it is a one-time investment to support a sustainable source of energy.
