Maju Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of BYD vehicles in Brunei Darussalam, has achieved a remarkable milestone after being awarded the Best Sales Growth Award 2024 at the ongoing BYD Asia Pacific 2025 Dealer Conference, held in Shenzhen, China from March 18 to 25.
In 2024, Maju Motors recorded sales of 89 BYD vehicles. In an impressive leap, the first quarter of 2025 has already seen sales surge to 228 units, reflecting the growing demand for BYD’s innovative electric vehicles in the Sultanate.
Representing Maju Motors at the award presentation were Mr Stanley Lim, Executive Director, and Mr Chan Key Hong, Managing Director, along with members of their dedicated team.
Mr Chan Key Hong expressed his gratitude to BYD China for their continued confidence in Maju Motors, particularly for giving Brunei the opportunity to be among the first countries to introduce BYD’s Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) models and future models such as the Shark 6, Seal 5, and others.
He stated, “BYD is packed with technology that no other car brand can match or offer.”
He further added, “Maju Motors is proud to bring this cutting-edge green technology to the people of Brunei.
