    Maintaining your skin’s elasticity as you grow older

Exercise also helps reduce stress, which is another element that can adversely affect skin health.

    Nutrition plays a crucial role in maintaining skin elasticity.

    A diet rich in antioxidants and essential vitamins can aid in fighting free radicals, which are harmful molecules that accelerate the ageing process. Antioxidants like vitamin C, vitamin E, carotenoids and lycopene are beneficial. Consuming foods like citrus fruits, leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, tomatoes and carrots can provide these essential nutrients.

    Oral collagen supplements also offer a promising solution.

    Studies have indicated that oral collagen can reduce wrinkles, improve hydration and increase skin density.

    Furthermore, skincare products can aid in preserving skin elasticity, particularly those formulated with proven ingredients like retinol, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C.
