An Indonesian female domestic helper has been sentenced to eight months’ jail after she pleaded guilty to stealing jewellery from her employer.
Nia Kurniawati committed the crime when she was working at a house in Jalan Sungai Tampoi Sengkurong ‘A’ on May 5.
She came across a container full of pins, but zeroed in on two white gold rings worth BND3,500.
