The Public Works Department, Ministry of Development announced that the status of water supply disruption or low water pressure due to emergency work to repair a water pipe measuring 100 millimetres in diameter near Simpang 638-22, Kampong Lumut Tersusun issued by the department on May 23 has been resolved.
The work was completed around 7pm on Monday.
Meanwhile, the installation of a new ductile-iron over-crossing water pipe measuring 150 millimetres in diameter at Simpang 76, Jalan Kecil Sungai Bakong, Lumut issued by the department on May 22 was completed at 1am yesterday.
Water supply will be restored. However it will take time to fully recover and high-elevation areas may still experience water supply disruptions or low water pressure.
