South Korea (ANN/KOREA HERALD) – Former NCT member Lucas, known for his tenure in the K-pop boy group, recently teased a potential solo comeback in a documentary titled “Lucas Documentary Part 1 Freeze,” shared on his official YouTube channel.

In the documentary, Lucas acknowledges a shift in his character, attributing it to the controversies surrounding his private life, which prompted him to temporarily withdraw from public engagements.

The controversies surfaced in August 2021 when his ex-girlfriend accused him of swindling and described their relationship as a form of gaslighting.

Lucas took responsibility for his actions, issuing a letter of apology and departing from NCT.

In the 22-minute documentary, he expresses remorse for disappointing his group members and acknowledges personal growth, recognising and addressing his negative traits.

Lucas also meets with Lee Sung-soo, the CEO of SM Entertainment, in the documentary, expressing his desire to return to work after a challenging two years. He shares concerns about maintaining fan support due to his absence from the public eye.

Adding to his recent endeavors, Lucas opened an X account on Wednesday, amassing over 246,000 followers by Monday, showcasing ongoing interest and support from fans.
