A mass recitation of Wirid to seek blessings from Allah the Almighty for the well-being and longevity of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was held recently in conjunction with His Majesty’s 76th birthday celebration.
The Semarak Kasih event was organised by the Mosque Affairs Department through the Muslimah Affairs Division, and in collaboration with Kampong Bang Dalam Mosque Takmir Committee. It served as a platform to express love and undivided loyalty for His Majesty.
The programme also included donations to the poor and destitute, Muslim converts and single mothers. Present to handover the contribution was the spouse of Minister of Religious Affairs Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Asbi.
