The Logo Design Contest for 2024 ASEAN-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges has opened to ASEAN member states including the Sultanate and China, said the Chinese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam.
According to the embassy’s website, ASEAN and China have agreed to designate 2024 as the ASEAN-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges.
The contest is co-hosted by ASEAN-China Centre and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
The launch of the contest took place in Changzhi City of Shanxi province on December 18, and entries have to be submitted by January 15, 2024.
Selection by the appraisal committee will be conducted on January 16-22, 2024. The announcement of winners will take place on February 1, 2024.
The winner will receive CNY30,000 and a certificate of award while two second prize winners will receive CNY10,000 and a certificate of award each.
Five third prize winners will receive CNY1,000 along with a certificate of award.
The appraisal committee will also award a number of other contestants with certificates of recognition.
First and second prize winners will also be awarded titles of honour – ‘Promotion Influencer’ and ‘Marvelous Designer’.
The top three winners will be invited to attend the award ceremony held by the organiser, with round-trip expenses borne by the organiser, and the necessary support including translators (if necessary) provided.
