A local youth and an organisation were recognised during the 2022 ASEAN Volunteer Award held in Quang Binh, Vietnam recently.
Haji Abdul Mateen Bolkini bin Haji Ahmad, the founder of Tambang.bn and a member of the IMPAK Association, Tutong received the ASEAN Youth Volunteer Award for the ‘Individual’ category.
Meanwhile, Big BWN Project received the Youth Volunteer Award for the ‘Organisation’ category.
The ASEAN Youth Volunteer Award was held for the first time under the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Youth, ASEAN Secretariat and is a prestigious award for ASEAN volunteers.
