A local waste management company has signed six locals for apprenticeship in various technical roles.
Klean and Klear Sdn Bhd (K and K), established in 2020, signed six apprentices in June and July.
The apprentices will undergo training at an Integrated Scheduled Waste Management Plant (ISWMP), currently in a pre-startup phase, at Sungai Liang Industrial Park.
The apprentices will also be posted overseas at partner facilities, said the company.
K and K said some 90 job opportunities will be available when the plant is fully operational. – Fadley Faisal
