Local tug-of-war team victorious in Limbang meet

Chainblock Red 7Dua0 impressed in the regional scene after winning the Limbang International Open Tug-of-War Championship at the Limbang Sports Complex in Sarawak, Malaysia recently.

The Brunei-based outfit defeated Titiwangsa ‘B’ from Malaysia, who settled for a runners-up spot, in the open category.

Another local side Chainblock Green 7Dua0 finished fourth after they lost to Chainblock Limbang Team who claimed third place.

Twelve teams represented the country including Chainblock, MS PDB, HSN Fit, KB Bull Brothers, SPSS Tuggers, Mengkubau United, Gabungan Puak Brunei, Lun Tau Borneo and MG Lobo. Chainblock Red 7Dua0 brought back home a championship trophy contributed by the YAB Sarawak Premier as well as a cash prize amounting MYR20,000, while Chainblock Green 7Dua0 walked away with a cash prize of MYR7,000.
